Boys:  suggested clothing choices include a shirt with a collar or polo shirt, denim shorts or jeans with cuffs rolled up. White Singlets or t-shirts also look good.

Girls: look great in long flowing white or light coloured dress, hats, and scarves. You can even bring a change of wardrobe if you like.

Helpful hints for your shoot

Try to avoid wearing clothing brandishing big logo's, prints or advertising

Try not to bring bags, hand bags or prams on your photo-shoot as these are all a distraction

Clothing like denim, white, lighter or washed out colours, checks and stripes all look good.

It's a good idea to book shoots with babies and very young children around the child's sleeping pattern.

When you are relaxed and enjoying yourself, this will be reflected in your photographs.

Most importantly, forget about the camera and have fun!
